Orlando’s temperatures are set to climb this week, with highs reaching the mid-80s by Saturday

A warming trend follows a cooler start to the week
Central Florida is expected to transition from seasonably cool conditions early in the week to notably warmer afternoons by midweek and into the weekend, based on the latest forecast for the Orlando area.
Monday (Feb. 16) is forecast to remain relatively mild, with a high near 67°F and a low near 56°F, alongside intervals of clouds and sunshine and the chance of a passing afternoon shower. From Tuesday (Feb. 17) onward, daytime temperatures are projected to climb quickly, reaching the mid-70s on Tuesday and rising into the lower 80s by Wednesday and Thursday.
Day-by-day outlook: from upper 60s to mid-80s
Tuesday, Feb. 17: Mostly sunny, high near 75°F; low near 56°F.
Wednesday, Feb. 18: Partly sunny, high near 82°F; low near 59°F.
Thursday, Feb. 19: Partly sunny, high near 83°F; low near 61°F.
Friday, Feb. 20: Mixed clouds and sun, high near 84°F; low near 65°F.
Saturday, Feb. 21: Warm with a shower possible in spots, high near 85°F; low near 63°F.
Sunday, Feb. 22: Mostly sunny, high near 82°F; low near 57°F.
Rain chances remain limited, with only spotty showers indicated
While the overall trend favors warmer and mostly dry conditions, the forecast includes periodic opportunities for brief showers rather than widespread rainfall. Monday carries the chance for a passing afternoon shower, and Saturday’s forecast includes the potential for a shower in places. For much of the week, the prevailing outlook points to partly sunny skies and limited precipitation.
Late-week warmth may not last into next week
The warmer pattern is currently expected to ease early next week. After highs peak in the mid-80s Saturday, the forecast suggests a step down by Monday (Feb. 23), when Orlando’s high is projected near 70°F with a low near 48°F. Tuesday (Feb. 24) is forecast to remain mild-to-cooler, with a high near 68°F.
Forecast highs are projected to rise from the upper 60s on Feb. 16 to the mid-80s by Feb. 21 before easing back toward 70°F on Feb. 23.
What to watch
Residents planning outdoor activities later this week should anticipate warmer afternoons, especially Wednesday through Saturday, and monitor updates for any changes in shower timing. Even with warmer daytime temperatures, overnight lows are expected to vary, including a cooler drop projected early next week.
