Incident reported near Millenia-area intersection

Orlando police have filed felony and misdemeanor charges against a woman accused of attacking two people during a road-rage confrontation near the Mall at Millenia area and then biting an officer during her arrest.

The encounter was reported shortly before noon on Feb. 23, 2026, near the intersection of Millenia Boulevard and Millenia Plaza Way, a corridor that serves multiple shopping centers and regularly carries heavy midday traffic. Investigators say the incident began as a dispute between drivers and escalated after one driver exited her vehicle while traffic was stopped or slowing.

What investigators allege happened

Police said a 35-year-old woman who was driving in the area reported that another driver repeatedly braked in front of her. Investigators said the 35-year-old honked and attempted to change lanes, and the other driver then cut across lanes, got out of her vehicle and climbed onto the hood of the 35-year-old’s vehicle.

Police allege the suspect opened a vehicle door and struck the 35-year-old woman in the face and upper body area. The 35-year-old later went to a hospital and contacted law enforcement, according to the arrest documentation summarized in local reporting. Authorities said the woman did not appear to have visible injuries at the time of the report, and the vehicle was not described as damaged.

Second victim described as a bystander who intervened

Investigators said a second woman, described as an older bystander, witnessed the confrontation and attempted to assist. Police allege the suspect then attacked that bystander, causing injuries described as scratches to the face in the arrest narrative cited in local reporting.

The charges include battery on a person 65 years of age or older, reflecting investigators’ characterization of the second victim’s age category under Florida law.

Arrest and allegations of violence toward officers

Police say the suspect resisted as officers attempted to place her in handcuffs. Investigators allege she bit one officer on the arm and kicked another officer during the arrest process.

She was booked into the Orange County jail system, and she later posted bond. As of the initial reports, authorities listed a $20,000 bond and the following charges:

  • Battery on a person 65 years of age or older
  • Aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer
  • Burglary of a conveyance with assault/battery
  • Resisting an officer with violence

In Florida, “burglary of a conveyance” can apply when a person is alleged to enter a vehicle without permission and commit an offense inside, a theory prosecutors sometimes use in cases involving an alleged assault after a door is opened.

What comes next

The case will proceed through the Orange County court system, where prosecutors will need to prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. Court records will determine future hearing dates, any pretrial release conditions, and whether the case is resolved through plea negotiations or trial.
