Fringe Solo Shows at the Dr. Phillips Center

Award-winning performer and Fringe favorite Jon Bennett brings his unique brand of storytelling to the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater today. Bennett is set to perform two distinct solo shows that blend absurd humor with raw vulnerability. His latest work, This Will Only Ever Happen Once, explores themes of personal trauma and wildlife through a lens of hysterical honesty. Performances are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

EPCOT After-Hours and Festival of the Arts

Today marks the season premiere of Disney After Hours at EPCOT. This specially ticketed event allows guests to experience the park with significantly lower wait times for popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The event officially runs from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., though ticket holders can enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m. Additionally, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts continues throughout the day, featuring global food studios, live performance art, and the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.

If you are looking for a more relaxed evening, the Enzian Theater is screening No Other Choice at 6:30 p.m. The Enzian remains Orlando's premier destination for independent film and offers a full café and bar service during screenings. For music lovers, The Plaza Live is hosting Journeyman: A Tribute to Eric Clapton. Fronted by Shaun Hague, this performance provides a deep dive into Clapton's legendary career, covering hits from his time with Cream and Derek and the Dominos to his solo work. The show begins at 8:00 p.m.
