Nonstop service is limited to four roundtrip dates and operates as charter flights between MCO and Narita

Travelers can now book nonstop flights between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT), creating a rare direct air link between Central Florida and Japan. The service is not a new daily route; it is a limited series of charter operations scheduled for four roundtrip dates in early 2026.

The flights are marketed by ZIPAIR, a Tokyo-based low-cost airline affiliated with the Japan Airlines Group. The timetable posted for sale indicates the Orlando-to-Narita segment operates as flight ZG713 and the Narita-to-Orlando segment as ZG714.

Flight dates and posted schedules

ZIPAIR’s published flight listing shows departures on four dates in late February and early March 2026. On three of the four dates, the aircraft departs Orlando at 3:40 p.m. and arrives in Narita at 8:35 p.m. the next day. The final departure, on March 10, is posted one hour later from Orlando, while keeping the same next-day arrival time in Japan.

  • Orlando (MCO) → Tokyo/Narita (NRT): Feb. 23, Feb. 28, March 5 (3:40 p.m.); March 10 (4:40 p.m.)
  • Tokyo/Narita (NRT) → Orlando (MCO): Feb. 23, Feb. 28, March 5 (2:30 p.m.); March 10 (2:30 p.m.) with a later Orlando arrival posted

Because of time-zone differences, the Narita-to-Orlando flights are posted to arrive the same calendar day in Florida, while the Orlando-to-Narita flights arrive the following day in Japan.

What “now available” means in practice

The “now available” aspect refers to the start of public ticket sales for these charter flights, rather than the launch of an ongoing nonstop route. Charter operations can be used to test demand and operational performance without committing to a long-term schedule. The published plan currently lists four roundtrip opportunities, not a continuous service throughout 2026.

In addition to flight-only booking options, the charter program has also been tied to packaged travel offerings sold in Japan. Some promotions connected to Central Florida theme-park tourism have been presented alongside the charter operation, reflecting the region’s tourism-driven travel demand.

Key traveler considerations

Passengers should confirm what is included in the base fare, as low-cost long-haul models commonly price baggage, seat selection, and onboard services separately.

With only four planned roundtrip dates, availability may be limited and schedule changes can be more consequential than on high-frequency routes. Travelers planning onward connections in the U.S. or Japan may also want to account for the added risk of separate-ticket itineraries.

At this stage, the published schedule reflects a short, defined operating window from February 23 through March 10, 2026.
