Public Health and Facility Safety
The City of Orlando continues to maintain health and safety protocols for all visitors entering public facilities. In accordance with current advisories, individuals who have experienced symptoms of respiratory illness within the past 14 days, including fever or persistent cough, are requested to refrain from entering City Hall and other municipal buildings. Official public meetings offer hybrid or virtual attendance options to ensure community participation remains accessible to all residents regardless of health status.
Housing and Community Development
The City has issued a notice for non-profit organizations regarding the upcoming 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan. While the formal application link for grant funding will be available on February 9, preliminary information regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs is currently available for review on the city’s housing portal. A public hearing to gather input on neighborhood needs is scheduled for later this month.
